Soundrise is an alarm for iPhone that has your music ready before you’re awake enough to choose it.
Set your wake time, pick genres or a playlist from your Apple Music library, and Soundrise builds you a set for the length of morning you actually have. When the alarm sounds, your soundtrack is waiting.
A real alarm
Soundrise sets a real system alarm, not a workaround.
- It works with the app closed.
- It works on silent mode.
- It takes over your lock screen, the way the built-in Clock app does.

Use it as your only alarm
iOS can silence one of two alarms set for the same minute. Use Soundrise as your main alarm, and if you keep another one as a backup, set it a few minutes earlier than Soundrise rather than at the same time.
How it works
Choose your music. Pick genres in the order you want them, or point Soundrise at a playlist you already love.
Set the length. 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Soundrise builds a set to fit.
Wake up. The alarm sounds. Your playlist is ready to start.
Works with Apple Music
Soundrise plays from your own Apple Music library. Music you own plays without a subscription. To play songs from Apple’s catalogue, you’ll need an active Apple Music subscription.
