Common questions
Do I need Apple Music? Yes. Soundrise plays from your Apple Music library, so an active subscription is needed for full playback.
Why doesn’t the music start on its own when the alarm goes off? Soundrise plays a reliable alarm tone, and you tap to start your playlist. This is deliberate — it means the alarm always works, even if music can’t load for any reason.
How do I change my music? Tap “Change music” on the home screen, or go to Settings and run setup again.
How long is my playlist? As long as you set it — 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. If the playlist or genres you chose don’t have enough songs to fill that time, Soundrise uses what’s there.
How do I delete my data? Settings → Delete My Data removes your saved preferences and cancels any scheduled alarms. Deleting the app does the same.
How do I stop Soundrise accessing my music? iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music. There’s a shortcut to this in Soundrise’s own Settings screen.
